My next novel, working title, HAUNTING CHARLESTON, is off and running.
I set my daily write goal at 2000 words. Day one I got in 2126 words. I could have gone some more, but I want to get back into a writing groove with this work. I resolved a few issues over the weekend with plot and location that was a bit problematic, but I worked through it and now it seems to be flowing to a good start.
I’ll be trying to get in a blog every couple of days or so to keep you up with my progress. I am posting my word count meter over there ——–>
You will be able to keep up with me as I make progress on the next installment of the Phoenix Worthy world.
Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.
~ George Orwell, “Why I Write,” 1947
